Thank you for taking the time to look at my site.  I hope you enjoy what you see.

I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t making something.  Having practical parents, it seemed natural to make it if I wanted it, where possible.  Now I kid myself that walking along  sandy beaches collecting sea glass, melting glass on glass rods to make beads, working with fantastic fabrics is all in a day’s work.  As a customer once said to me “it’s a hellova way to make a living but I guess someone has to do it!”

Working from my garden studios I design and make beautiful jewellery and accessories using sterling silver and smooth perfect pieces of sea glass, shaped, frosted and coloured only by the movement of the waves and sand, which I have collected on my travels.  A little sea glass is sourced from abroad – we have a limited palette of colours in this country.  I also include stunning lampwork glass beads in some pieces, some handmade by other talented artisans, but mostly created by myself in my studio.

My love of textiles remains; I love colour, of all hues, and indulge this by creating a sumptuous range of scarves and accessories using silks and velvets, dyed, printed and devoréd in my studio.  

For those wanting to have a go themselves, I have designed a shibori silk dyeing kit suitable for beginners, to make your own scarves.
